Are you a passionate, dedicated Social Work Assistant looking for your next role? 4Recruitment Services are recruiting a Social Work Assistant to join their team based in Leeds. You will be required to support social work staff in providing protection and support to a wide range of people within the community.  

Pay Rates: £14.27 per hour

Duration: 06/03/2023 - 3 months

Hours: Monday to Friday, 37 hrs/week - office based

Social Work Assistant role: Full JD Available

• Making contact with clients and setting up appointments
• Carrying out routine visits to assess people’s needs
• Inform the Social Worker of needs or issues arising
• Escorting clients
• Arranging and participating in multidisciplinary team meetings
• Raising with other agencies and following up enquiries
• Maintain daily records on work done
• Build trusting, working relationships
• Contact supervision between children and families/ carers

Essential Requirements:

• Recent extensive experience working with in family support/ vulnerable children and families
• Knowledge of key legislation relevant to social care work
• Knowledge of methods to plan and review
• You Must Have Right to Live & Work in the UK
• Enhanced Child DBS Certificate registered onto the update service
