Social Worker | Adults Commissioning Team | Whitehaven/Workington, Cumbria

4Recruitment Services require experienced Social Workers to work within an Adults Commissioning Team based within Whitehaven/Workington. The Successful Social Worker will be required to have a minimum of 2 years recent Social Worker experience of working within an Adults Commissioning Team.  

The successful post-holder will support the commissioning, procurement, contracting and post contractual monitoring of services. The Commissioning Services team ensures that commissioned services achieve the highest standards of quality and performance in line with prescribed standards.

The successful Social Worker will have experience of:

• Working in a small team of nurses and Social Workers
• Assessing and reviewing Social Care needs under the Care Act, development of Social Care needs plans and commissioning care packages
• Assessing and Reviewing Health and social care needs and mental health risk assessment reviews
• Reviewing Care Packages under Section 117 requirements.
• Duty work and responding to crises

To apply for this the Social Worker must have:

• A relevant Social Work qualification (BA/MA Social Work/DipSW or equivalent)
• Candidates must have continuing healthcare experience
• Good knowledge of the Care Act 2014 and strength-based assessment processes
• Be HCPC Registered
• Be eligible to work within the UK

Salary is £32 per hour
