Specialist Nurse | ITU or ICU

4Recruitment Services are currently seeking ITU/ICU Specialist Nurses (SNs) to work within Birmingham.

Hours: Part-Time/Full-Time Days

Shifts: Short Shifts/Long Shifts Available (Nights and Block Bookings Available)

Pay Rate: £20.85 - £31 per hour

Who you are-

You will be responsible and accountable for the delivery of health care to patients within an agreed scope of practice whilst on duty. You must demonstrate commitment to this dynamic role and be a positive role model to all staff.

What you will be doing-

Candidates will be expected to work calmly and effectively in a fast-paced environment, as well as communicate well with other members of staff and patients. You will be working autonomously to manage own caseload of patients whilst working as partof the multidisciplinary team.

You will be required to assess through examination, investigate, make a diagnosis, treat and discharge patients, whilst identifying their physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual and cultural needs. Acting as a patient advocate when relevant, and be able to educate on all treatment options to enable a patient to make an informed choice.

You will also need to ensure patients and families are given appropriate oral and written advice regarding care planning. What You will need-

• A Registered NMC
• An Enhanced DBS
• To be IV Trained
• Have 3 years' worth of references
• Have UK Hospital experience within the past year
