Specialist Social Worker - CLA Team

We are currently looking for a Specialist Social Worker - CLA Team. You will be working in Yeovil for the council.

Pay rates - £35ph 

Job Purpose

You will be part of a team of social workers within a larger team. The CLA team work with children in our care to achieve permanence for them whilst supporting high aspiration for them to achieve their potential. This includes court work, permanence in care, adoption, re-connection and reunification of children with their families. The team is well established and balanced comprising of social workers of varying levels of experience. There is a supportive, child-focused and enthusiastic culture within the team. You will be well supported through supervision with an established and experienced Team Manager.

We are looking for a social worker who has an understanding of Trauma informed practice and is committed to delivering a high standard of direct work to children and their families. A social worker who can work in a highly pressurised role, following statutory responsibilities whilst also completing a high standard of written work for a Childs record, looked after child forms, court paperwork and adoption paperwork.
