Senior Children Social Worker

Childrens Advanced Practitioner - Tewkesbury Children's Safeguarding Team2 - £43 plus accommodation

We are looking for an experienced social worker to join our  Safeguarding  team in Tewkesbury as an Advanced Practitioner.  The ideal candidate will have experience of supporting or mentoring newly qualified SW and students as well as acting as the lead in the team on providing training and supporting dissemination of improvements to practice.  Alongside this there will be some case holding of complex cases.  Homeworking opportunities will be available but it will need to meet the needs of the service and has to be flexible.

Social Work Senior Practitioner – LAC/Leaving Care - £41 plus accommodation

Note: We are looking for experienced social workers who understand the need for permanence for young people and who will demonstrate grip and tenacity to ensure young people feel safe and secure to enable them to achieve their potential.

Working predominantly with 16+, the team is based in Gloucester and candidates must have minimum 3 years’ experience of working with children in care/care leavers.

The role is full time, 5 days a week with at least 2 days a week in the office and we are asking for a 6 month minimum commitment.

Must be able to travel to Gloucestershire as remote working is offered but flexibility is required to meet operational need

Social Work Senior Practitioner - Fostering Friends and Family - £35 plus accommodation

** PART-TIME ROLE 22.2 HOURS ** The Friends and Family Assessment and Support Team assess and supports kinship carers, we work closely with children’s’ social worker undertaking SGO viabilities, SGO assessment for court and kinship fostering assessments. We also support SGO carers post order. We are a team that covers the whole of the UK and no day is ever the same. We are a busy team that is diverse, very supportive, friendly and enthusiastic. We work hard and are a very social group of professionals sharing time together to celebrate achievements’. We currently seek an experienced social worker  to help drive forward the ongoing success and achievements within the FFAST Team. Home working opportunities are available but must meet the business needs and be flexible.
