Supervising Social Worker

Job Description

In this role, you'll be responsible for developing and providing high quality services for children who are unable to live within their own families. Or for whom short-term breaks are needed to maintain them in their own homes.
You will recruit, train, assess and support foster carers. You will work in partnership with other team members in order to provide the most appropriate service for looked after children and young people and foster families, as well as to contribute to the smooth running of the agency as an integral member of the team.
You will be working alongside a supportive and experienced team that enables children to achieve outstanding outcomes and you will be responsible for co-ordinating packages of support for foster carers and children/young people in their care.
