Support Worker | Children in Need

Support Worker | Children in Need | Hyndburn/Ribble Valley

We require a Support Worker to work within a Children in Need Team based in Hyndburn/Ribble Valley. The Successful Support Worker will be required to have a minimum of 1 years recent Support Work experience of working within a Children in Need team.

The successful Support Worker will have experience of: -

• Care Proceedings
• Working with Children in Care
• Children to Adoption
• Advocate Meetings
• Looked After Children Reviews

To apply for this the Support Worker must have: -

• Education to GCSE standard or equivalent, including a pass in English Language and mathematics
• NVQ in Education Welfare, DipSW, CQSW or degree in a related field or an appropriate child or young person qualification
• Previous experience of working in a child focused organisation
• Previous experience of working as part of a team
• Previous experience working in a multi-professional environment

Salary is £10.33 per hour
