Team Manager | Hospital Discharge Team | Central Bedfordshire

Contract –

We require an experienced Team Manager to work within a Hospital Discharge Team based within Central Bedfordshire. To be successful for this role, you are required to have a minimum of 2 years recent Team Manager experience of working within a Hospital Discharge Team.

For this Team Manager, Hospital Discharge Team you will need to have a minimum of 12 months' experience of working as a Team Manager within an Adults' Social Services team. You will also need to have the Eligibility to work in the UK with previous experience working within a similar role.

The Role:

• Arranging discharge plans safely and timely
• Risk management issues
• Undertaking Section 2s and 5s
• Mental capacity assessments leading to best interest decisions
• To ensure the safeguarding of vulnerable adults, work closely with the police
• Report writing
• Carrying out a high volume of assessments all across the county
• Attending multi-disciplinary meetings

To apply for this role you must have:

• A relevant Social Work qualification & experience (BA/MA Social Work/DipSW or equivalent)
• Experience of completing high quality Form F assessments and presenting reports to Panel
• Financial, budgeting and analytical skills
• Experience of direct working with children and families
• Demonstrable experience of people management, including recruitment and selection, performance management and staff motivation
• Ability to chair meetings effectively
• Be HCPC Registered
• Be eligible to work within the UK

Salary is £38 per hour.
