4Recruitment Services are seeking Theatre Nurses/Practitioners or ODPs to work within Essex.

Hours: Part-Time/Full-Time Days

Shifts: Short Shifts/Long Shifts Available (Nights & Block Bookings Available)

Pay Rate: £Competitive per hour

 

Are you a passionate and organised Theatre Nurse/ODP with at least 1 Years' UK Hospital Experience?

What you will be doing-

Theatre nurses work with patients of all ages and primarily within hospital operating theatres and anaesthetic/recovery areas. They may also be involved with certain procedures on wards, clinics or in other specialist areas such as cardiac catheterisation units. Theatre nurses provide high standards of skilled care and support during the 'perioperative' journey. Perioperative care can be divided into interconnected phases: Preoperative (pre-assessment), Anaesthetics, Surgical Phase and Recovery Phase.

 

Who you are-

Candidates will be expected to work calmly and effectively in a fast-paced environment, as well as communicate well with other members of staff and patients. You must have up to date knowledge of clinical practices and a strong understanding of relevant regulatory care compliance. You will need to be a registered nurse to work as a theatre nurse.

As well as the general skills needed for nursing, theatre nurses require: The competence to work in a highly technical area,

an ability to pay great attention to detail and to concentrate for lengthy periods of time, the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team, to have very good interpersonal skills, physically able to adapt to the environment including the potential to stand for long periods as well as react in an emergency within a confined area. What You will need-

Theatre Nurses/Practitioners need a Registered NMC, an Enhanced DBS, have 3 years' worth of references and have 1 years minimum UK Hospital experience.

 

ODPs need a Registered HCPC, an Enhanced DBS, have 3 years' worth of references and have 1 years minimum UK Hospital experience.
