Are you a passionate, dedicated Youth Justice Probation Officer looking for your next role? 4Recruitment Services are recruiting a Youth Justice Probation Officer to join their team based in Manchester. You will be required to deliver high quality services to young people and their families aimed at preventing and reducing offending.

Pay Rates: £28.54 per hour

Duration: 27/02/2023 - 3 months with possible extension

Hours: Monday to Friday, 35 - 40 hrs/week - Hybrid working between office, home and community

Youth Justice Probation Officer role: Full JD Available

• Manage a caseload of young people
• Make clear assessments in relation to risk of harm to the public, risk of re -offending and of offence related needs
• Allocate appropriate resources
• Develop and deliver programmes/interventions
• Provide thorough care for young people serving Detention and Training Orders and other custodial sentences
• Ensure information systems and records are maintained
• Prepare reports for court

Essential Requirements:

• Professional Qualification in Probation (PQiP)
• Own laptop and phone if possible
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• You Must Have Right to Live & Work in the UK
• Enhanced Child and Adult DBS Certificate registered to the update service
