Early Help Coordinator - Catford

Are you a passionate, dedicated Early Help Coordinator looking for your next role? 4Recruitment Services are recruiting an Early Help Coordinator to join a Targeted Family Support Team with in an Early Help Provision based in Catford. 

Pay Rates: £27.18 per hour

Duration: 27/03/2023 - 6 months

Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00, 35 hrs/week - Hybrid 

Early Help Coordinator role: Full JD Available

  • To develop, facilitate and coordinate working relationships and partnerships with a range of front-line staff and managers across Lewisham’s Children and Young People’s Services and partner agencies including schools, health, police, housing, and the voluntary and community sector to enable families to receive timely help and support, and supporting professionals in their use of the Early Help Assessment.
  • Working office based, in the community, across schools and partner agencies
  • Help meet the needs of vulnerable children, young people and families
  • Provide information, advice and guidance to professionals working with families
  • Be part based within the Front Door for Families, alongside CSC, to provide advice and support to referrers
  • Provide training, guidance and advice to individuals completing EHA’s and to act as a quality assurance agent
  • Providing support and facilitation of Team Around the Family meetings (TAFs) and the development of clear action plans
  • Create and review guidance around TAF for practitioner use
  • Attend meetings and reviews
  • Facilitate virtual coffee with colleagues and facilitating groups
  • Build strong working relationships

Essential Requirements:

  • A relevant professional qualification or NVQ Level 4 equivalent gained in setting associated with children or young people and families
  • Recent experience of working with families and children requiring early help support
  • Experience of assessing & analysing information about the needs of children and families
  • Good working knowledge of current legislation and policy regarding safeguarding for children and families
  • Knowledge of the EHA and Team Around the Child/Family process
  • You Must Have Right to Live & Work in the UK
  • Enhanced Child and Adult DBS Certificate registered onto the update service
