We are currently looking for an EDT (AMHP Qualified) worker. You will be working in Wirral for the council.

Key Responsibilities

The principle responsibility of EDT is to respond to out of hours referrals where intervention from the Local Authority is required to safeguard children and adults, and where it would not be safe, appropriate or lawful to delay that intervention until the next working day.    

EDT may also deal with referrals which are not assessed as emergencies, but where delaying intervention could cause deterioration in the welfare or safety of the child or adult.   

The EDT service is operational between 17.00 hours and 09.00 hours Monday to Friday, and 17.00 hours from Friday through to 09.00 hours on Mondays. The service is extended to cover Bank Holidays, other public holidays and days on which mainstream services are not operational
