Family Support Worker - Children in Care - Nottingham 

Are you a passionate, dedicated Family Support Worker looking for your next role? 4Recruitment Services are recruiting a Family Support Worker to join a Children in Care team based in Nottingham.

Umbrella Rate: £15.79 per hour 

Duration: 3 months initially

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 5pm, 37 hrs/week

Family Support Worker role: Full JD Available

• Direct work with Children, Young People and their Families
• Facilitate and supervise family time with looked after children and their families
• Make an observation of the family time for social workers assessment
• Work with the families to resolve any behavioural and emotional issues that may arise from Contact
• Immediately report and record any safeguarding concerns
• Provide advice and guidance to parents where needed on things such as child development, guidance on play
• Build strong and trusting working relationships with the children, families and all staff
• Ensure that the Child’s Contact Record is complete with sufficient information
• Maintain records of work and write reports
• Attend meetings, reviews and conferences where necessary

Essential Requirements

• Relevant professional qualification
• Must have experience as an Early Help/Family support worker holding and working through a caseload
• Must have experience completing Team around the family meetings and Early Help Assessments
• Experience of writing and producing reports
• Excellent communication skills, both written and interpersonal
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• You Must Have Right to Live & Work in the UK
• Enhanced DBS registered to the update service
