Job Description
Maintenance Operative
Location: Site based in Southbank (nearest station Elephant & Castle Underground Station, Borough OR Kennington)
Starting: ASAP
Duration: Temp to Perm
Hours: 4 on 4 off Shift
Pay: £22Ph via umbrella (CIS)
Note - (This would be required to be flexible across the main campus at Elephant and Castle, Croydon and Havering. Might also need to provide assistance at the colleges based in Clapham, Vauxhall and Brixton)
Duties
You will be working as part of a multi-disciplined maintenance team working on the landlord & tenant areas of a corporate offices based in Bristol
Carry out Fabric Technician duties, such as but not limited to:
Maintenance / repair to joinery
Maintenance / minor repair to building fabric Ad hoc painting / touching up to properties
Minor mechanical / electrical repairs
Minor repair to plumbing systems and clearing blockages
(PPM’s) Planned Preventative Maintenance jobs assigned
Lath & Plaster inspections
Repairs and modifications to tiling
Repairs and modification to door locks and door jam repair, hanging doors, adjusting and installing door closers,
Repairs and maintenance to ceiling tiles, and any general repair to the facility that is required to maintain the standard of the building.
