Job Description

We are currently looking for a Soft Services Manager. You will be working in Stockport. This is working for a large FM manager

Monday - Friday

09:00am - 17:00pm

Temp Contract

Pay rate - £21ph via umbrella

Job Purpose

  • To deliver an end to end first class service for all services on the dedicated contract. Ensuring all KPI’s are met, adhering to national cleaning standards, food standards and maintaining services within the budget.
  • To monitor site operations and maintain an exceptional level of customer service

Main Duties

  • Sets objectives and goals for the team and what the next steps/ priorities are to meet those goals.
  • Is responsible for all the QHSE requirements of their team for areas of accountability
  • Ensures the hospital has a reputation for its high quality soft services and where possible to look for opportunities to develop this further
  • Ensures that patients, materials and equipment are safely and appropriately transferred around the hospital to the standard required by the Client and Mitie, as set out in the Service Level Agreement
  • Leads a team to ensure the delivery of a high quality, timely, responsive, cost-effective
  • Pro-active service to meet the needs of the wards and departments
  • Ensures that all colleagues are trained in accordance with clients and companies requirements meeting both hard & soft needs.
  • Ensures delivery of services in line with contract requirements and Company expectations.
  • Ensures compliance with MITIE Catering’s Operations Manual and Client policies and procedures by all.
  • Ensures compliance with MITIE Cleaning Operations Manual and client policies and procedure by all
  • Creates and maintains a healthy safe and secure environment for all patients.
  • Undertakes additional duties in line with capabilities as required to fulfil requirements needed by the contract
  • Responsible for ensuring there are adequate staffing levels across the department in-line with contract specification and demand
