Personal Advisor - Care Leaver & UASC - Leicester
Are you a passionate, dedicated Personal Advisor looking for your next role? 4Recruitment Services are recruiting 3 Personal Advisors to join a UASC team/ Care Leaver Team.
Umbrella Rate: £17.76 per hour
Duration: 25/03/2024 – 3 months initially
Hours: Monday to Friday, 37 hrs/week – Hybrid
Personal Advisor role: Full JD Available
- Manage your own caseload of young people aged 16 – 25 years
- Complete visits on a visiting pattern and keep in constant contact with the young people
- Support and advocate for the Children & Young People where necessary
- Contribute to Single Assessments/ Age Assessments based on need
- Supervise contact visits when parents are visiting children who are looked after
- Take notes on the contact including behaviour and parenting skills, producing reports where necessary
- Support the parents on any issues in contact
- Provide emotional and physical support to children and young people
- Undertake identified Life Story Work
- Build strong, trusting working relationships
- Attend meetings, reviews and conferences where necessary
- Undertake continuing professional and personal development to develop and update knowledge and skills
Essential Requirements
- UK Driving Licence, access to a vehicle, business insurance
- Experience working with young people leaving care/ unaccompanied asylum seeking children
- Experience of behavioural work with children / young people and their carers
- Must have experience completing pathway plans
- Knowledge of Safeguarding children issues and needs of older children
- You Must Have Right to Live & Work in the UK
- Enhanced Child and Adult DBS registered to the update service
