Referral Processor - Family Service Autism and ADHD Team - Nottingham 

Are you a passionate, dedicated Referral Processor looking for your next role? 4Recruitment Services are recruiting a Referral Processor to join a Family Service Autism and ADHD Team based in Nottingham.   

Umbrella Rate: £14.52 per hour 

Duration: 3 months initially

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm, 37 hrs/week – Hybrid (office based once experienced and then WFH flexibly)

Referral Processor role: Full JD Available

• Receive and handle all initial referrals received into the team
• Assess new referrals against the Family Service Autism and ADHD Team threshold criteria for triage assessment
• Make decisions about referrals to determine if the criteria for the service are met or whether another service should support the family
• Offer signposting for families/professionals to appropriate external services if necessary
• Provide verbal feedback and advice to referrers regarding the action taken on their referral, and to confirm this in writing
• Deal effectively with enquiries across all channels from members of the public, customers, services users, internal departments and professionals from other agencies (e.g. schools, health, Early Help. Social Care)
• Take ownership of enquiries and provide feedback on progress and outcomes to partner agencies, professional organisations and the public as appropriate
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date records
• Participate fully in supervision, appraisals (EPDR), and practice observations, as part of personal development and support
• Attend team meetings and whole Service events

Essential Requirements

• To hold 5 GCSEs at level A*-C (including English) or equivalent
• Experience of working within a Children’s and Families Service setting
• Experience of working with and supporting families whose children have additional needs and/or behaviours indicative of a neurodiversity and or a diagnosis of ADHD/ASD
• Experience of administering and triaging referrals into an early help service or parenting provision
• A working knowledge of ADHD and ASD and the services in place to manage and support families affected by the condition
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• You Must Have Right to Live & Work in the UK
