Support Worker - Young People Leaving Care - London

Are you a passionate, dedicated Key Worker looking for your next role? 4Recruitment Services are recruiting a Key Worker to join a team based in East London 

Pay Rates: £12.00 per hour

Key Worker role: Full JD Available

• You will be required to support and prepare looked after young people aged 16 – 25 years, re-locate from semi-independent housing to independent living
• You manage a caseload of around 12 young people
• Work directly with supervisors, young people and other professionals
• Monitor and record all visits, including the young persons ability to engage with everyday living
• Help and support them develop life skills where necessary
• Encourage and support them with access to education, training and employment and any applications that need to be done
• Attend meetings with agencies and professionals in regards to the young people

Essential Requirements:

• Level 1 or 2 in Child Safeguarding
• Previous experience of at least 1 year working with vulnerable children
• Experience recording and reporting
• You Must Have Right to Live & Work in the UK
• Enhanced DBS Certificate registered onto the update service
