Transport Manager

Job Title - Transport Manager

Location - Sussex , BN1 (Falmer is closest train station)

Hourly Rate - £15 p.a.y.e OR £18 via umbrella

Duration – 12 months minimum

Working Monday to Friday, 8am till 5pm (40hrs per week)

Job objectives and responsibilities:

Management of all aspects of parking, including permit issuing, and responding to queries and requests from staff and visitors.

Also Line managing the Transport Administration Team and Traffic Marshalls:

Line Management duties of the SEF Transport Department.

Management of car parking permits and passes process.

Management of the coordination of events register.

Overseeing of the Customer Service of Security functions, including general enquiries, appeals etc.

Managing the implementation of the sustainable transport plan applications.

Managing the implementation of the sustainable transport plan application

The issue and records for renewals of parking permits and passes including visitor’s permits.

The update and maintain records of vehicles and permit database.

Compilation of required reports.

Management of all aspects of parking, including permit issuing, and responding to queries and requests from members of the client and visitors

Manage and respond to all incoming queries and requests from members of staff and visitors.

Ensure the effective administration of transport databases and information.

Manage the transport inboxes and dedicated phone line.
