Hours: Monday – Friday, 7am till 4pm - (Call out is currently 1 in 4)

Rate: £23.00ph via umbrella

As a Building Services Supervisor you will reporting into the RME site Area Manager, your role will be key to ensuring all Building Fabric, Planned & Reactive elements of the service are delivered in accordance with the contract obligations & to Statutory Compliance requirements, which will include overseeing and managing the PPM and reactive maintenance activities; monitoring KPIs and Maintaining the site CAFM system; manage all health & safety, permit to work; reviewing of RAMS and liaison with supply chain; and induction and monitoring of subcontractors.

In the people management aspect of this role, you will be responsible for a team of 3 engineers, you will manage their workload and preform audits on jobs completed, you will also be responsible for recruitment and development of staff including, Monthly Toolbox talks, Quarterly and annual appraisals, managing staff absenteeism, and disciplinary issues.

This is a hands-on role with supervisory duties, meaning you will deliver maintenance tasks whilst supporting the rest of the maintenance team, so knowledge of building systems is essential, as well as participation with On Call / Evening and Weekend callout as per the rota (currently 1 week in 4).

Note:

It would be highly desirable if you also have good IT, CAFM & Tablet skills; ISOH Managing safely Certificate and IPAF 3a & 3b and Harness training; and any further Level 3 Building Services related qualifications.
