Job Description
We are currently looking for a Caretaker. You will be working in Nottingham.
Monday - Friday
Temp Contract
Pay rate - £11.83ph
Nottingham
- Lock/unlock school buildings and areas with flexible working times to facilitate Governors’ meetings and other school events
- Assist with regular security checks
- Operate alarm systems where appropriate
- Assist with minor/simple repairs e.g. minor plumbing, changing light bulbs, unblocking drains, repairing door furniture
- Operation of heating plant, cooling and lighting systems
- Collect and assemble waste for collection
- To sweep the playgrounds weekly and to clear the playgrounds on a daily basis of litter and animal excrement
- Ensure the maintenance of a clean and orderly working environment
- Timely & accurate preparation of routine equipment/resources/materials as set out in instructions
- Undertake basic record keeping as directed
