Community Nurse - Band5 RN/RGN

4Healthcare are seeking experienced Band 5 Community Nurses/RGNs (Registered General Nurses) to work in areas within Bedford.

Hours: Full-Time (9:00 - 17:00)

Shifts: Monday to Friday

Pay Rate: £20.85 per hour

What you will be doing-

You will be required to support & deliver care to patients who have been admitted to the Community Health Team Caseload and will co-ordinate the Team's approach to care delivery on a day to day basis. You will need to assess, plan and implement a plan of care for individual patients. You will be required to support joint integrated working across Community Health Team and other stakeholders and work closely with the Team Senior Nurse/AHP to ensure care delivery is of a high quality and meets required standards.

Who you are-

The suitable Band 5 Community Nurse (RN/RGNs) will need to have commitment and flexibility, expect to be working from Monday to Friday and have good spoken English. You will need to have experience administering medication (insulin, low molecular weight heparin, B12), experience with Male and Female Catheterisation and Wound Care (Bandaging) with pressure area assessment and care. Experience of working in a multicultural environment and working independently, unsupervised providing high quality evidenced based care. You will need to understand the relevant clinical guidelines, protocols and care pathways. Be Computer literate and have a knowledge of Safeguarding Children and Vulnerable Adults policies and procedures.

What you will need-

To be able to apply for this role you MUST be a car driver as you will be required to travel to different locations in the area, you will need to have a Registered NMC, an Enhanced DBS, have 3 years' worth of references and have 1 years' minimum UK community experience.
