Are you a passionate, dedicated Children's Deputy Manager looking for your next role? 4Recruitment Services are recruiting a Deputy Manager to join a team based in a Children’s Home in Coventry. 

Pay Rates: £20.17 per hour

Duration: 06/02/2023 - 3 months

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm - Office based

Deputy Manager role: Full JD Available

• Support the Registered Manager in the day to day management of all operational activity
• Contribute to the planning, delivery and review of services
• Take part in the programme of service and establishment inspections
• Support manage the Home’s budget
• Report all accidents and incidents, identify hazards and initiate risk assessments
• Ensure effective communication with all staff by setting up team briefs and meetings
• Take part in new staff induction
• Cover for the Registered Manager if absent
• Work with other agencies to provide the necessary care and services
• Support, inform guide and instruct all staff, deliver training plans where needed
• Provide employees copies of appropriate guidance such that all employees are aware of what may constitute abuse or neglect of children or vulnerable adults, are aware of their duty to report such concerns and comply with this duty
• Provide a safe and caring environment for young people
• Report all concerns about the children

Essential Requirements:

• UK Driving Licence, access to a vehicle, business insurance
• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare as a minimum
• Recent extensive experience working as a deputy manager or higher in a Children’s Residential Home
• Experience managing a team
• You Must Have Right to Live & Work in the UK
• Enhanced Child and Adult DBS Certificate registered onto the update service
