Salary: £ 35,000 Per Annum, plus generous relocation package if applicable

Our prestigious client is looking to recruit a Nursery Manager to manage their private day nursery in Southend. The client is a global company whose UK HQ is in Southend-on-Sea, and home to roughly 600-700 of their,200 UK employees.

Recruiting for a Nursery Manager to join the private on-site day nursery which is currently rated as ‘Good’ by Ofsted, for our client’s employee’s children (up to 64 at full capacity).  Looking for someone who is passionate about children's learning and enhancing learning through play. There are three rooms which are the Baby Room, Two to Three and Pre-School.

The role is a full-time permanent position. Within this role, you will work with other nursery staff to create a safe and stimulating environment to promote learning of all ages, update parents on their children's progress, ensure all children's needs are met, follow safeguarding and health and safety procedures as well as maintaining records and creating reports.

There is an outdoor playground and mud garden, and our facilities are modern and cater for all needs of the children.

The team are well established and require minimal support, barring two apprentices. You will be well supported by the HR department (which is a team of 25) which are based on-site with our recruitment, Finance department, who are also on-site and on hand at all times.

The hours for the Manager’s role are 7.00am-16.30pm, or 8.00am-17.30pm, but these have to be flexible around the needs of the nursery, as sometimes there may be a need for the Manager to stay until close of business if a staff member is sick, or if they have a meeting etc.
