We are looking for a Multi Skilled plumber to work in our repairs and maintenance team.
Preferably with social housing experience as customer care is paramount to this role.
The successful candidate will be supplied a vehicle, van stocks and fuel card to be able to carry out this role.
Monday to Friday, 8am till 4pm.
Role to last 3 months minimum
Paying £18ph via umbrella
Duties include but are not limited to:
To carry out repairs and maintenance work to a variety of Council properties within North West Leicestershire.
To undertake all works to the required standard in accordance to current regulations following manufacturer’s instructions.
To carry out diagnostic fault finding on a range installation across a diverse housing stock.
To carry out tasks within the NWLDC Multi-Skill Assessment to the required standard.
To utilise all tools, accessories and equipment issued in an appropriate manner.
To effectively contribute to the provision of accurate records for time, SOR’s and materials to each works order with the use of a smart phone device (PDA)
Complete work surveys to establish work and materials required.
To liaise with the Asset Management Support Team to ensure job activities are scheduled effectively.
Must be fully qualified (Level2/3 in plumbing or equivalent).
Must posses a minimum of 3 years’ experience.
Must posses a full drivers license.
Must be able to pass a DBS check.
