Job Title: Mobile Plumber
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am till 5pm
Duration: Permanent

Location: Maidstone, (mobile around Maidstone area)

Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 + Van & Fuelcard

Notes: Must be able to pass a DBS & possess a driver’s license.

In Mobile Plumbing Engineer you will undertake inspection and repairs across a variety of commercial plumbing and drainage installations including Pipework inspections, adaptions and repairs including associated equipment (pumps / expansion vessels / PRV's / TMV's etc.), drainage inspections and sanitation repairs or replacement. Hot Water generation and distribution systems. Water Hygiene maintenance and inspections.

All work would need to be completed to SFG20 or relevant ACoP's as applicable. You will be expected to deliver to the highest level of service for the client, answering queries, reporting any defects, and keeping then informed of site activities at the time of the service visit. You will also be required to complete all work-related documentation accurately and on time, keeping logs of inspection reports.

Duties may include but are not limited to:

Completion of routine monitoring tasks in line with the Approved Code of Practice L8. This is a mobile role, travelling to client sites and completing the necessary tasks to maintain compliance.

Maintain customer's waterlog books and complete the necessary documentation in line with current guidelines and company policy.

To take a variety of Water samples from multiple sector properties and document these samples in line with company procedures.

Carry out water system clean and disinfections in accordance with the Approved Code of Practice L8 and company procedures.

Testing, servicing, and maintaining of thermostatic mixing valves and basic plumbing works where required.

The ability to complete works on heating and chilled water systems and chlorine dioxide systems is desirable but not essential.

To communicate daily to the service department that all tasks are carried out efficiently.

Maintain adequate stocks of chemicals and materials as necessary

Requirements:

Experience within a Maintenance / Facilities Management. environment

Relevant qualifications required e.g., C&G Level 2 / NVQ Level 2 or equivalent / technical diploma.

Knowledge of Health & Safety, Permit to Work procedures and safe systems of working.

Capability to perform manual tasks, including manual handling, working at heights and in confined spaces as well as a willingness to participate in the On-Call Rota.
