Sheffield City Council - HR Administrative Assistant (I trent)
Location: Moorfoot Building, Sheffield, South Yorkshire, S1 4PL
Contract: Initial contract to 30th September 2021 with possible further extension.
Hours: Full Time – Monday to Friday – 8:30am to 5:00pm
Payrate: £10.41 an Hour
Description:
HR Administrator ideally with I Trent HR systems experience but not essential. A good HR background is essential who can quickly pick up the I Trent.
Job Purpose
Support the delivery of a professional HR service for all customers.
Support the wider development of an integrated HR Service offer across Sheffield City Council
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
Business Delivery
Support the delivery of a professional HR services to a high standard that meets customer needs in line with best practice HR.
Support business improvement and change at service and team level.
Contribute to the implementation of new and improved HR procedures and processes.
Maintain accurate records of work and ensure that HR data is up to date.
Customer Focus
Contribute to the provision of efficient and accurate transactional services to (internal and external) customers as defined by the service specification and that meets customer needs,
are cost effective, highly regarded by customers and in line with best practice HR.
Manage customer contact in terms of query resolution, signposting and ensuring that all enquiries are resolved as quickly and accurately as possible.
Management of resources
Ensure the cost effective and efficient use of all resources used in the development and delivery of programmes and projects.
Ensure that personal contributions are accurate, timely and based on best practice HR.
Team commitment
Contribute to building effective teams, team working and effective relationships internally and with partners.
All duties and responsibilities are to be carried out in accordance with Sheffield City Council policies and procedures, including policies on equality and health and safety.
Any other related duties and responsibilities as may arise.
