Job Title: Water Treatment Engineer
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am till 5pm 

Location: Brighton (mobile around brighton)

Salary: £23,000 – £27,000 + Van & Fuelcard

Notes: Must be able to pass a DBS & possess a driver’s license.

The Role:

We are currently looking for a Water Hygiene Engineer to complete a range of Legionella maintenance PPMs, remedial cleaning, sampling, chemical testing, minor plumbing and electro / mechanical tasks to meet clients' requirements. 

Duties may include but are not limited to:

Completion of routine monitoring tasks in line with the Approved Code of Practice L8. This is a mobile role, travelling to client sites and completing the necessary tasks to maintain compliance.

Maintain customer's waterlog books and complete the necessary documentation in line with current guidelines and company policy.

To take a variety of Water samples from multiple sector properties and document these samples in line with company procedures.

Carry out water system clean and disinfections in accordance with the Approved Code of Practice L8 and company procedures.

Testing, servicing and maintaining of thermostatic mixing valves and basic plumbing works where required.

The ability to complete works on heating and chilled water systems and chlorine dioxide systems is desirable but not essential.

To communicate on a daily basis to the service department that all tasks are carried out efficiently.

Maintain adequate stocks of chemicals and materials as necessary

Requirements:

Previous experience within Compliance Servicing, Legionella Monitoring or Water Treatment is desirable.
