Family Time Worker - Staffordshire

Are you a passionate, dedicated Family Time Worker looking for your next role? 4Recruitment Services are recruiting a Family Time Worker to join a Family Time Team based in Staffordshire.

Pay rate is £15.41 per hour.

3 months initially.

Hours are 8.30am – 5pm.

The role:

• Organize family time between children and their parents or other relatives as instructed by the court.
• When necessary, arrange transportation for children and young people to attend family time.
• Support and facilitate therapeutic family time between children and their families.
• Offer parenting support and guidance to parents during family time.
• Assist in the completion of accurate documentation, reports, and records related to children, young people, and families.
• Be available outside traditional working hours, including evenings and weekends, to provide support to children, families, and carers when needed.
• Develop relationships and provide interventions to children, families, and carers.

Requirements

• A minimum qualification of NVQ3 or equivalent in working with children and their families.
• Experience in direct work with children, their families, and carers in a statutory or voluntary agency that provides services to vulnerable children and their families.
• Familiarity with child development and the influence of stress and trauma on children's growth and development.
• Capability to effectively navigate and work in situations involving conflict.
• Capable of using a car without restrictions - designated as an essential car user.
• Enhanced DBS registered to the update service.
