HR Project Coordinator - Trafford 

Salary: £ 14.77 Per Hour

Full Time (36 hours per week)

Overview:

This is a fixed term funded role which will sit in the dynamic HR Operations Team and will be aligned to support the Children’s Services improvement journey. This role will be pivotal in providing project support and co-ordination of HR activity. The post holder will assist the HR Business Partner in the planning, delivery, and implementation of HR elements of the improvement journey

Main Responsibilities:

  • Providing a professional, responsive and legally compliant advisory/consultancy service on a diverse range of human resource/organisational development issues for a wide range of customers.
  • Providing comprehensive HR, project and programme management support to the HR Business Partner in identifying, developing, and delivering people interventions in line with business objectives and executing key strategic projects.
  • Supporting the effective delivery of a range of HR projects critical to the success of the Council’s People Strategy.

Key Duties:

  • Supporting in the delivery and continuous improvement of the HR service to ensure it is responsive, solution-focused, legally compliant and people-centred.
  • Working closely with the HR Business Partner and other key stakeholders by co-ordinating and organising all project tasks; supporting the planning, monitoring and management of the project portfolio.
  • Providing HR and project management support to the HR Business Partner to help shape wider organisational strategies and organisational change (i.e. service redesign, transformational change, TUPE Transfers), taking responsibility for outputs and key deliverables.
  • Supporting the implementation of business change and transformation projects to assist in the provision, development and implementation of the project deliverables which contribute towards the achievement of business objectives.
  • Providing accurate analysis, management information, and regular reports for quality improvement activities; ensuring all employment and HR[1]related projects and activities run smoothly and according to agreed deadlines.
  • Co-ordinating the governance reporting from within the HR/Directorate Programmes to senior boards and ensuring consistency in the quality of reporting across the programmes.
