Domestic Abuse Coordinator - Family Support- Horsham

Are you a passionate, dedicated Domestic Abuse Coordinator looking for your next role? 4Recruitment Services are recruiting Domestic Abuse Coordinator’s to work in a busy family support service based in the Horsham area.

Pay Rates: £12.02 - £14.67  per hour (Rates are dependant of shift type Umbrella Rates)

Information on the Role:

Successful candidate will be In the office 3 days and home 2 days per week

What you will be doing:

  • You will undertake administration work for the team who support clients and their families.
  • You will be organised, efficient and be able to work under your own initiative and respond to requests as needed.
  • You will work within a multi-agency setting to support colleagues and partner agencies to provide the best possible service to victims.
  • You will be responsible for providing high quality support including uploading referrals, support to MARAC processes and minute taking.
  • You will be proactive in taking forward tasks on a demand basis.

Skills & Professional Characteristics Needed:

  • Problem-solving abilities in order to anticipate problems and resolve issues independently, planning solutions and making sound pragmatic decisions which will have a direct impact on the service.
  • Good organisational skills, including the ability to manage time and to plan work effectively.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills with both internal and external partners.
  • Ability to embrace change and have the flexibility to respond to the needs of the service.
  • Highly accurate IT and keyboard skills, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and adept and proactive at picking up new technologies quickly to produce high quality minutes and reports.

Essential Requirements:

  • Right to Live and Work in the UK
  • Current Enhanced DBS
  • BTEC Higher or equivalent qualification or experience, demonstrating that level of applied knowledge in providing an administration service.
  •  Experience of providing business support, advice and/or guidance to others.
  • Experience of undertaking administrative tasks and processes, including inputting data and using databases.
  • Experience of working in a fast paced, innovative work environment, whilst remaining calm.
  • Experience of applying relevant legislation, policies and/or procedures to individual pieces of work.
