Are you a passionate, dedicated Housing Advice Officer looking for your next role? 4Recruitment Services are recruiting a Housing Advice & Early Intervention Officer to join a team based in Catford, Lewisham (office based). 

Pay Rates: £20.96 per hour

Housing Advice Officer role: Full JD Available

• To promote a housing options approach to service delivery by providing advice information and assistance.
• To prevent and resolve homelessness/ housing issues by joint working with other departments and agencies.
• Carry out initial assessment of needs for the customers.
• Make referrals to appropriate services.
• Keep records.
• Deal with telephone enquiries.
• To organise and arrange team meetings and others as required.

Essential Requirements:

• Knowledge of the housing options approach to homelessness prevention
• Have an understanding and knowledge of the support needs of all that approach the service such as mental health, substance misuse, learning disabilities
• Have an understanding of the supported accommodation to which clients can be referred
• You Must Have Right to Live & Work in the UK
• Standard DBS Certificate
