Are you a passionate, dedicated Domestic Abuse Advisor looking for your next role? 4Recruitment Services are recruiting an Independent Domestic Abuse Advisor to join a team based in Manchester. You will be required to provide an advice, support and advocacy service to victims of domestic abuse who are at high risk of harm or homicide to keep them and their children safe. 

Pay Rates: £15.39 per hour

Duration: 03/04/2023 - 3 months

Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 16:30, 35 hrs/week - Hybrid

Independent Domestic Abuse Advisor role: Full JD Available

• Provide practical and emotional support
• Carry out individual safety and support plans, determine their support needs
• Provide expert advice on a range of realistic and sustainable options
• Ensure service users are referred to appropriate support services
• Work face to face, via telephone or other communication methods
• Develop strong, trusting working relationships
• Ensure all records, processes and systems are up to date and maintained

Essential Requirements:

• UK Driving Licence, access to a vehicle, car business insurance
• Experience of working with survivors of domestic abuse
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• You Must Have Right to Live & Work in the UK
• Enhanced Child and Adult DBS Certificate registered to the update service
