Salary: £ 55.00 Per Hour Umbrella

Full Time: Monday to Friday – 9:00am to 5:00pm

Role Purpose:

To provide legal advice on education matters including Special Educational Needs to our client, and to represent our clients at the First-Tier Tribunal (Special Educational Needs and Disability).

Responsibilities:

• To provide legal advice to all departments within the company on education matters, including Special Educational Needs (SEN).
• To advise on, prepare and conduct the presentation of legal actions in courts and other tribunals on behalf of our client.
• To appoint and brief counsel on cases as required.
• To attend, as the Director of Legal Services representative, any meetings, including with elected members and senior officers.
• To maintain confidentiality and observe data protection and associated guidelines where appropriate.
