Nottinghamshire County Council – Business Support Administrator

Location: Littleworth, Mansfield, NG18 2TB.

Contract: 31st March 2022.

Hours: Full Time – Monday to Friday

Payrate: £8.72 an hour

Description:

We are currently running a project whereby we are transferring children's EHCP's (Education Health and Care Plans) from our system of Mosaic to an online platform called Idox.

The process is as below:

Retrieve the word EHCP from Mosaic

Copy and paste the outcome from the word EHCP into the new platform Idox

Set a review date in the new Idox system

Check this with the date in Mosaic and correct if required

Upload a PDF copy of the plan to Idox

The process will require the use of both systems Mosaic and Idox (Induction and support given) word and excel working knowledge.

Working experience of Excel and creating simple reporting would be required

As part of the wider development of the role further business support duties may be required

ICT will be provided, and the role will be undertaken working from home due to current restrictions

Key responsibilities

To undertake high level complex business support processes including complex or sensitive reports and correspondence, monitoring and reconciling large budgets, producing complex financial reports and statements as requested by the business.

To be an authoritative source of advice and guidance, both for customers and colleagues on services, policies and processes including complex queries.

To create, manage and manipulate information whether relating to finance, staffing information, customers or any other service requirement or eligibility criteria, this will include producing bespoke and complex reports.

Develop systems and processes to meet operational needs and to ensure the high quality of information held.

To undertake a full range of financial management processes, including processing orders, resolving issues, budget monitoring, reconciling accounts and handling cash.

Responsible for the organisation of meetings and events including booking venues, issuing invitations and papers and take minutes.

To support business support colleagues including demonstrating duties and day to day task supervision
