Are you a passionate, dedicated Accommodation Officer looking for your next role? 4Recruitment Services are recruiting a Temporary Accommodation Officer to join a team based in Hammersmith & Fulham. 

Pay Rates: £23.75 per hour

Duration: 3 months initially

Accommodation Officer role: Full JD Available

• Manage a range of properties acquired for temporary accommodation for Homeless households.
• Tasks include void management, lettings, tenancy management, rent arrears, repairs, access to welfare and benefit support, landlord liaison and related areas.
• Ensuring residents are aware of their rights and responsibilities, and the impact to their tenancy/licence should there be a breach.
• Attend court where required for tenancy termination.
• Investigate complaints about temp accommodation and other matters and decide on an outcome.
• To generate and provide required data to evidence performance against key performance indicators, including financial recording and submitting financial returns.
• Maintain an inventory system for goods and equipment.
• Maintenance, security and inspections of buildings.
• Develop and maintain good working relationships with all contacts.

Essential Requirements:

• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
• An understanding and knowledge of housing and other relevant legislation and regulatory frameworks within housing
• Recent experience working in a busy housing or property related environment
• An understanding of the problems faced by homeless households in temporary accommodation
• You Must Have Right to Live & Work in the UK
• Enhanced DBS Certificate registered onto the update service
