Job Description
Principle Finance Manager – Manchester
Hybrid – 2 days in office – 3 days from home
£300-400 per day
Contract – Full Time
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assist with the consolidation of the organisation and group published accounts 2023/24, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements, CIPFA Code of Practice and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
- Assist with the finalisation of 2022/23 year end audit processes, supporting external auditors to plan and deliver the audit
- Develop and maintain excellent relationships with finance colleagues and other key stakeholders to ensure a smooth yearend process and timely delivery of the auditors' requirements
- Support to identify and implement continuous improvement, QA processes and streamlining opportunities to enable accurate accounts to be produced in line with tight statutory timelines
