VAT Alignment Officer – Haringey (Temp Vacancy)

Pay Rate: £20.10ph

Full-Time (36 hours)

Job Purpose:

Contributes to the successful alignment of Haringey’s VAT returns to HMRC.

This will include working to collate, review and update historic Purchasing (P.) card VAT submissions

Accountabilities:  

• Has the understanding, knowledge and ability to follow guidelines that ensure compliance with Health and Safety at Work, Data Protection and other statutory requirements.
• Promotes the Council’s equality, diversity and inclusion values, upholding policies and practices that deliver effective and appropriate services fairly and without discrimination and in an inclusive way.
• Undertakes other duties relevant to the post and consistent with the overall objectives and responsibilities.
• Carries out duties in compliance with: HMRC requirements, Public Service Standards
