HR Consultant – Trafford – Full time

Your Main Priorities

• To provide a professional, high quality, responsive, solution focused, legally compliant and customer centred HR advisory/consultancy service providing HR advice and guidance on an extensive range of human resource/workforce development issues to a wide portfolio of clients, in line with service level agreements
• To support and engage in the continuous improvement of the HR service
• To drive key elements of the People Strategy providing sound advice and direct delivery of a wide range of HR/OD activities to support the achievement of strategic council priorities and plans.

Key duties

• To manage a large, broad, and complex human resource caseload, ensuring that casework and investigation processes are streamlined and handled quickly to minimise risk and de-escalated efficiently, and in line with legislation and case law.
• To advise and support clients with the management of organisational change proposals to ensure a robust, effective and legally compliant approach is undertaken.
• To quickly and adeptly understand the extent of the HR issue(s) presented, and generate appropriate creative solutions, with the aim to meet customer need
• Provide professional advice on, and assist with the development of HR policies, procedures and supporting documentation.
• CIPD Level 5 ESSENTIAL
