4Recruitment Services require an experienced Social Worker to work within an Ongoing Support Team based within Tendring.

The on-going support team is based in Clacton and will be covering Tendring. The team supports older adults and their carers with ongoing cases and complex cases. The team consists of a Team Manager, a Deputy Team Manager, Senior Social Workers, Social Workers, Occupational Therapists and Community Support Workers.

You will be responsible for managing a caseload, including assessment of risk and purposeful intervention through direct work, commissioned services and review. Quality assuring interventions and balancing need with finance, using effective practice audit tools. You will ensure safeguarding in line with the Council's statutory obligations across the council and with partners. You will be Accountable for working within the statutory legal framework, policy and guidance in line with legislative and organisational standards within the Care Act 2015 (e.g. MCA / DoLs / CHC etc).

You will need to be passionate about the role to be able to develop support plans that gain commitment to solutions that drive the care required for each individual's needs. It is important to build effective relationships with internal and external partnerships to achieve these plans.

We will help you with your progression by defining annual specific individual and shared targets and objectives against the performance management framework.

To apply for this the Social Worker must have:

• A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
• Need to have completed their ASYE Year
• A valid HCPC registration
• Significant experience of working within child protection and safeguarding
• Knowledge of methods of social work intervention
• Must hold a full UK Driving Licence
• Contemporary knowledge of social work & their social work applications i.e. attachment theory, enabling change, behaviour management

Salary is £30k - £41k per year.
