Support Worker Co-ordinator – Leicestershire

Salary: £ 11.80 Per Hour

Full Time (37 hours per week)

Hybrid working

Role Purpose:

To work closely with designated teams in order to provide specialist administrative support, facilitating the throughput of work to Business Support. To work with and liaise confidently with a range of internal and external agencies to ensure children, young people and families receive our services It is vital to the future of the department that the post holder is flexible in taking on additional tasks, willing to offer help to employees and treats co-operation and support for colleagues as a top priority.

Responsibilities:

  • To maintain and facilitate general administrative duties through the SENA business support team. Maintaining process and procedures.
  • Maintain accurately and keep up to date a range of computer-based monitoring and data systems to support service areas, Maintain and develop additional systems to support the tracking of workload into the team supporting the team to meet turnaround times and customer service standards.   This may include developing and maintaining spreadsheets and other IT based applications.
  • To ensure and support that incoming and outgoing correspondence and generic inboxes and duty lines are appropriately managed/ recorded/ tracked/ progressed and prioritised
  • To compose and send out correspondence, emails, reports, minutes and other such documentation
  • To work with and assist their managers and service managers across all the services they support, to establish service priorities, to improve service delivery, and to develop and monitor service standards and performance
  • To ensure that information is held and communicated safely and securely, respecting confidentiality in line with the Data Protection Act and GDPR Guidelines
  • To ensure the need for timely accurate and complete information, including CFS Software Systems as directed by managers
  • Support managers with FOIs, data breaches investigations and complaints
  • To have responsibility for the supervision, training and development of Admin Assistants in their team including the allocation of work, ensuring deadlines are met, checking quality of work and dealing with queries
  • Under direction of the Senior Business Support Officer and Business Manager undertake absence management, disciplinary and behaviour at work action
