Team Manager | Adults Learning Disabilities Team | Bradford

Contract –

We require an experienced Team Manager to work within an Adults Setting for a Learning Disabilities Team based within Bradford. To be successful for this role, you are required to have a minimum of 3 years recent Team Manager experience of working within an Adults Learning Disabilities Team.

The successful Team Manager will have experience of:

  • Managing a range of service users with learning disabilities and their carers
  • Minimising and managing levels of risk
  • Providing assistance, guidance and direction to colleagues
  • Leading on and completing holistic assessments and reviews of the social care and general health needs of individuals with learning disabilities
  • Working in line with the Council's 'Promoting Independence' commitment
  • All aspects of case management including safeguarding and mental capacity assessments
  • Adhering to the standards of proficiency set by the Health and Care professional Council
  • Organising your own workload, in a complex, demanding and pressurised environment.
  • Managing and using financial and performance information

To apply for this role you must have:

  • A relevant Social Work qualification & experience (BA/MA Social Work/DipSW or equivalent)
  • Financial, budgeting and analytical skills
  • Be HCPC Registered
  • Be eligible to work within the UK
  • Experience within Adults Learning Disabilities
  • Be a car driver

Salary is £Negotiable per hour.
