Home to School Transport Officer – Manchester
Salary: £ 11.55 Per Hour
Full Time (35 hours per week)
Role Purpose:
The role holder will ensure the provision of appropriate services to ensure service users are fully supported to increase opportunities to maximise their independence.
The role holder will actively work with partner agencies and stakeholders to ensure that service users are able to access community and national services to achieve their identified outcomes.
Plan and programme the work of the team and communicate effectively with team members to ensure that work priorities and service objectives are clearly understood.
Responsibilities:
- Processing and inputting data onto in house system.
- Carrying out reviews of application forms with Families by telephone
- Answering queries from clients, colleagues and management
- Deliver PPE to passenger Assistants
- Confident and competent with Excel spreadsheets
- Flexible with working times between 7am and 6pm
Support the development of a strong culture of collaboration within the team and with key stakeholders, working flexibly and encouraging and supporting others to do the same to ensure the consistent delivery of high quality, efficient and effective services and the delivery of joint outcomes.
Understand the needs of service users and respond to their individual needs by providing and where appropriate promoting access to relevant services to promote their independence.
Work collaboratively with partner agencies and stakeholders to actively provide an efficient assessment service to improve positive outcomes for service users.
Maintain records and monitoring information and ensure procedures are followed to produce accurate and appropriate reports to evidence of the achievement of service performance and efficiency.
Proactively participate in initiatives and future changes to service delivery to ensure the implementation of new strategies and continuous improvement of the service model available to service users.
Personal commitment to continuous self development and service improvement.
